"Thy will be done"
We often hear this in prayers, until we learn to say this everytime we pray as well. But what does it really mean when you say "Thy will be done"? What word pops up in your head when you hear this? Faith! That's right.
Tita Merriam (Charot! My tita is a dictionary HAHA) defined faith as a strong belief or trust in someone, and a belief in the existence of God: strong religious feelings or beliefs. In these definitions alone, it is clear that faith is having trust to God.
TRUST here is not the "I trust that the Lord will make me the top of the class", or the "I trust him for letting me win in this competition", or the "I trust God for not allowing him to cheat on me". But rather, I'm talking about saying "I trust you Lord for bringing out the best of me in a humble way, a top student or not, your will be done" "I trust him for helping me please the audience, win or lose, your will be done" " I trust God for letting the truth prevail itself, even if it will hurt me so much, your will be done".
"Jesus said 'Don't be afraid; just believe"
Mark 5:36

I know this is hard, but once you surrender yourself and everything you do to the Lord, you are at peace, your soul is happy, and everything just seem so secured already, so you feel assured.
"Jesus answered, 'I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the father except through me'".
John 14:6
"Jesus answered, 'I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the father except through me'".
John 14:6
When you pray this, you don't make conditions. You whole-heartedly accept whatever lies ahead, whatever happens, even if it will hurt you, even if it means a big change, you know you'll be fine for he is in control. His will be done, right? His plans, not yours. His time, not yours.
"I am the Lord, in it's time, I will make it happen"
Isaiah 60:22
"I am the Lord, in it's time, I will make it happen"
Isaiah 60:22
"Lord, ikaw na bahala" should not be a last option we will have when everything is falling apart. Instead, it should've been what we hold on to from the start whether or not we prepared for what is coming. Our Lord should not be our last option, but he should be our top priority. Love him with all your heart, trust in him with all of your soul, and everything will follow.
"Commit everything you do to the Lord. Trust him, and He will help you"
Psalms 37:5
How to have trust in him that much? LOVE HIM TOO MUCH. How to love him too much? SEEK HIM.
"Have your roots in him. Build yourselves up in him. Grow strong in what you believe."
Colossians 2:7
I honestly found him to the extent of self surrender in my most trial moment, when I have almost nothing but him. That's when I realized how much he existed and how much he loved me. I was transfigured!
"For God had said 'I will never fail you, I will never abandon you"
Hebrews 13:5
"Spirit works deeply and gently within us"
Ephesians 3:20
Reality was harsh, but still life has always been beautiful with him in it.
Obey him, and do everything he wants you to do, if it means you will fulfill the purpose he has for you.
"The Lord my God lights my darkness"
Psalm 18:28
Obey him, and do everything he wants you to do, if it means you will fulfill the purpose he has for you.

Psalm 18:28
I HOPE YOU WILL FIND HIM SOONER :) IF YOU HAVE, ALLELUIA! IM SO HAPPY FOR YOU
