Open Letter to the Person who brought out the best in me.

I thought I'm just nobody. I thought i'm completely a regular person. I thought people can expect less from me, or if they do more, I'll fail them. I thought i'll be just a student, period. But at least that's just what I thought, until you came.

You were the typical teacher who delivers his/her discussions in the class. Nothing more, nothing less. However, time could tell how much you changed my perspective, views, and most of all confidence.  Your lessons became more and more complex, but I was able to catch up. In fact, I lived with it with appreciation way beyond than I expected in such a boring a lesson. I noticed some things as well. How you deliver your discussion to the class with such intimacy between the Lesson-You- and Me wowed me. Such passion that I saw made me listen more intently everytime you open your mouth. I know that the ultimate goal of a teacher is to impart their knowledge to the young ones, and you did it with more effort exerted than expected. But, that is not the only thing that is happening here. Every class with you was a chance for me to find myself. My inner, undiscovered, and hidden self. I though all I know about myself was just it. But you made me realize that I can still be more than me.

Wisdom was passed down in our usual talks. Simple talks that contain life, love, and meaning. You empowered me intellectually, emotionally with a heart, character and values.

You gave me more reason to pursue my education course plan. You supported my parents plans for me. And i'm always thankful for it.

Thank you for bringing out the new better version of me.

Thank you for helping me discover myself even more.

Thank you for building me into this kind of person.

You've always been a part of who I am today.

That fact won't be forgotten.

You are my history, that is remembered today, and will always be in my heart even in the future.

Continue to touch other people's lives.
